Tasting notes
Nose: This is sweet and spirity. At first there’s a generic sweetness sitting on top of a mild lemon/metallic note. It’s very ethanol heavy and there’s a cardboard note running through everything. A minty note sort of sits on top of everything else. Small notes of dry soil and oak can be detected as well. This is a bad nose and it mostly smells like raw spirit.

Mouth: It starts out very sweet with a lemon note coming from the back. It’s not especially offensive (at this point) and delivers notes of liquorice and oak. There’s an earthy side to it as well. The cardboard is still in there as well as the sweet minty note. After a few seconds it becomes very sour in the back which brings forwards a very metallic note in the mouth.

Finish: The sweetness and the sour notes stay through the transition and then doubles down. It’s still ethanol heavy and the lemon sourness in the back has now turned into a very sharp metallic note which is very unpleasant. The oakiness and the earthy notes tag along out on the edges. It’s a slightly dry oak. The late finish is just very metallic and unpleasant. This is a bad whisky. It’s too young and poorly made.
