Tasting notes
Nose: Vanilla, green apples, cherries, nail polish remover, honey and dusty oak. Very aromatic. There’s a chalk note in the background.

Mouth: Starts out very mild with the fruity notes up front. Assorted hard fruit candy, powdered sugar, cinnamon, vanilla. Astringent oak with a hint of pecan nuts. Anis, liquorice and a general rye note surrounds the edges.

Finish: A burst of spicyness leads way but turns over to a mix of the fruit candy and rye spices. The oak is very astringent and leaves a dusty note in the back.

Additional information
This small batch straight bourbon is made to replicate bourbon as it was before prohibition. It’s made from a mash bill consisting of 75 % corn, 13 % rye and 12 % barley. It’s aged in heavily charred barrels to create a fuller flavour.
